Can i sell domains at domain forums ?

I am wondering that most of the domainers say that it is one of the best way to sell domain names through forums, But it is not true. Domain sales is not the best at most of the domain forums except a few. Did you find any frequent domain sales record either at namebio (or) dnjournal ETC.

Even if the domain sale take place, it is not a notable sale. to sell domains you must be a frequent
forum poster there. If any one dislike you he wont buy domain from you.

There are few other benefits at domain forums on which you can concentrate
1) You can discuss and learn a lot from about domains and domaining
2) You can ask "appraise my domain" so that you can judge the value
3) Discuss with other domainers and create contacts
4) if you are interested in tiny profits you can sell here. Frequent domain sales will create a positive track record and you can improve your business slowly.

If you tell any lies it will fairly affect your business as well as your reputation as there are so many experienced webmasters at domain forums and they will chuck out you from the forum itself. Take care of what you post, concentrate on your words. Don't make more posts / create more threads it will make them to feel that you are spamming. be kind, courteous, polite and answer all questions even if they seem stupid. Try to get a positive attention to your thread. You can gain a very good publicity.
