Did brokers buy domains ? Be aware of Domain buyer broker ?

At few major domain buyer broker sites they say that they will buy domains and ask you to submit your domain portfolio for consideration. on submission they thank and say one of our executive will contact you soon (Probably an auto responder)

After 2 days they mail you to submit your domain at their market place for a small listing fee. This an age old malpractice followed by few portfolio sellers. They will collect your personal data like your name, mail id, phone number, current address, domains you own and their prices etc. I request not to fall in such scams. They wont buy any domains from you, they will try to grab some alternative domains on viewing your domain list [ all of you know very well that, when ever we view a list of domains, we get some idea to register new domains like plurals, alternative keywords etc from thesaurus or dictionary or word list generator]

Such domain buyer brokers generally won't buy any domains from domain sellers, may be they will pick a few great names from your portfolio and wish to grab domains very cheap. Did you ever heard such domain sales at any domain forums or domain blogs, Best way is submit to more than one domain broker to sell your domain, and promote your self in the way you know to the best possible extent. As no one will market your domain as best as you can.
